Car Polishing
Paint enhancement and protection with car polishing services
Car polishing is essential for improving your paint if your vehicle is up to 5 years old. This process can produce a reflective, mirror-like finish to your paint.
What is Car Polishing?
Car polishing is done using a power-driven rotary polisher with a polishing pad attached.
Professional-grade polishing liquids are applied to the pad and worked into the paint causing a level of abrasion. This process is usually performed by experienced and professional detailers.
Removes swirls, defects, oxidization and surface scratches to reveal a glossy shine.
This can sometimes be done in multiple stages.
The paint is now ready for protection in the form of a wax, sealant, ceramic coating or paint protection film.
Is Car Polishing Safe?
Car polishing is usually performed by professionals and it is recommended not to attempt to use a machine polished without guidance or experience.
Using a rotary polisher on the paint can risk clearcoat damage if performed by an untrained person.
We use safety measures such as a paint depth reader tool to measure the thickness of the clearcoat before beginning the car polishing via machine.
The abrasion from a machine polish during car polishing will remove a microscopic layer from the clearcoat. This is a completely safe practice when done correctly.
